He started working for the APF as a teenager and was a promoter for 8 years in Great Barr followed by a few years as Local Secretary in Stourbridge. He has also been assisting the Diocesan Director for nearly 14 years keeping the records of APF contributions from all parishes in the Archdiocese.
Other diocesan awards were presented at St Chad’s cathedral in June. These went to Peter Capper, Peter Chetwin, Judy Elliot, Judith Gent, Colin and Winnie Hobson, Mary Hulme and Claire Rutter, Amanda Kelly, Rita Lownes, Lynne Marshall, Vera Redfern, Celia Shaw, Eric Shelton and Emmanuel Zammit.
